Distractions

You know what I find is conducive to learning? construction going on right outside of my classroom window, worsened by the fact that my classroom is one of those new style classrooms that's supposed to make the class feel like a roundtable discussion by putting the seats in a large rectangle, with the teacher orating in the middle. The down side? When her back is turned, I can't hear shit. Fun.

Your blog "tagline" is an excellent political statement that doubles as an innuendo. Here is a joke to pass the time:

President Bush is visiting a 3rd grade classroom and asks, "Does anyone have any questions for me?" One child raises his hand asking, "Why did you invade Iraq without proof?" Immediately, President Bush breaks into a sweat and tugs at his collar then sighs in relief as the recess bell rings. "I'll answer that after the break."

Fifteen minutes later the children file back in and President Bush asks, "Now where was I? Oh yeah. Does anyone have any questons?" A different child raises his hand and says, "I have 3. Why did you attack Iraq? Why did the recess bell ring 20 minutes early? And where is Timmy?"
