Yes! I can be a lazy slob now!

So, this semester is over. Finally. I took my last final today. It went well, although I could have done better. I needed to study some more. You may be asking, "Well, why didn't you study more?" Well, little old me decided to catch a case of food poisoning last night. Nothing major; no projectile vomiting or explosive #2, but bad enough to make my stomach hurt like fuck and make me not want to move. It's gotten better, but my stomach still hurts every once and awhile. But fuck it; who cares? I don't have homework again until late August. Hell yeah!

Steph started teaching me how to drive a stick the other day. She said I did well. I was actually able to get the car into first gear, which she told me is not easy to do your first time out. I'm proud of myself. It was fun and I want to go out again.

Pick up the new David Cross cd. Funny shit.

Every fuckin' where I go I see the pathos that I know will spell the termination of us all

Actual exchange between myself and customer today:

Customer: Is The Last Samurai under 'T' or 'S'?
Me: (with disgust in voice) It's under 'L.'
Customer: (confusion in voice) 'L?'

That's how my whole day was. I also had an 18 year old girl (or younger) bounce up to me, ask if we had Distellers tickets, and then after I said no, she said "okay. I like you. Bye." And then bounced away. What can I say? I attract those high school girls. I also talked to a girl about Alkaline Trio, and then found out that she's friends with the drummer from Tsunami Bomb, so I finally got to find out why the bassists isn't in the band anymore. Apparently, he stopped being cool. So now I know. And so do you. Work continued to be weird after that

I have one more class tomorrow, and then finals, and then one semester til I graduate. Rockin'. I had to sit through presentations the other day on my vert bio class. They were good, except for one presentation had more cuts than an Aronofsjy film (that one's for you Matt). I can't wait for summer, so I can veg out.

Well They Took Some Honey From a Tree, Dressed it Up and Called it Me

Well, I'm back. I'd like to say that the reason I haven't posted lately is because I've been too busy. That's partially true. I've also just been incredibly lazy. So, what's been going on in my life...

I spent a weekend in the Mojave desert with my vert bio class last weekend. It was probably the best thing I've done in my four years at my college. I don't know if that says a lot about the trip, or very little about my school. Anyway, it was really cool; we caught a bunch of lizards and snakes, saw some cool sites, and drank beer with our teachers. I don't know how it could have been any better.

I also saw Death Cab for Cutie on Tuesday. It was a good show, except Ben's vocals were buried by guitar #2. That seems to be how it is these days. I don't know if that's the thing to do, or if people just don't know how to sound check anymore. But I still had a good time. The played a bunch of songs off their new album, which is their best one. Good times.

The Bad Religion catalog has finally been remastered. Go buy them. Start with "Suffer" or "Against the Grain."

One more week of classes, then finals. I can't wait for this semester to be over. I think I'm going to actually look for a new job once school is out and I actually have the energy to go searching.

On a final note, I love alll the heat Rumsfield and Bush and Chaney have been taking lately. I love to see them squirm, and can't wait to see their asses voted out of office (Bush and Chaney, at least).

That's all I got.
